Belief Is Hard.
Many people have honest intellectual objections or experiential pain that cause them to question, doubt, or reject Christian faith. We respect those who take the time to think through what they believe and why. You are invited to visit, to process your doubts and beliefs, and to explore Christianity with others. Be curious. What you believe - and we all believe something - is worth your time and consideration. Let's consider it together.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT
Once a month on a Thursdays evening, we make a big pot of spaghetti and open our home to neighbors and friends for good food and good conversation from 6:00 to 8:30pm. If you have food to share, bring it. If not, come as you are.
Our next two dinners will be Oct.24 and Nov. 21.
Our goal is to gather over a meal and connect with all kinds of people. To that end, we will have a “food for thought” prompt each week: When were you last moved by beauty? Are we better as a society than we were 100 years ago? What’s a book you’ve read that has changed your thinking about something? We can’t wait to hear your thoughts, especially if they’re different from our own.
Sign up below to get directions and let us know you’re coming. We welcome you to our table.
EVERYONE HAS QUESTIONS.
YOURS ARE WELCOME.
W&T FALL BIBLE STUDIES
Join us for our men’s and women’s fall Bible studies! Both studies will meet for nine weeks between Labor Day and Thanksgiving: our men’s study on the Gospel of Luke meets on Tuesday nights, starting Sept.3, and women will study the Psalms on Wednesday evenings, starting Sept.4. We will not meet on the weeks we have Food for Thought, our monthly spaghetti dinners (see above).
Come and engage the Scriptures with your adult mind and whole heart in community with others. All are welcome.
Please fill out the contact form below for details on the time and place.
