Belief Is Hard.
Many people have honest intellectual objections or experiential pain that cause them to question, doubt, or reject Christian faith. We respect those who take the time to think through what they believe and why. You are invited to visit, to process your doubts and beliefs, and to explore Christianity with others. Be curious. What you believe - and we all believe something - is worth your time and consideration. Let's consider it together.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT
Every Thursday our home is open to neighbors and friends for good food and good conversation from 6:00 to 8:30pm. We'll grill hot dogs or make a big pot of spaghetti. If you have food to share, bring it. If not, come as you are.
Our goal is to gather over a meal and connect with all kinds of people. To that end, we will have a “food for thought” prompt each week: When were you last moved by beauty? Is it possible to be truly selfless? Are we better as a society than we were 100 years ago? What’s something you think you have in common with everyone in the room? We can’t wait to hear your thoughts, especially if they’re different from our own.
Sign up below to get directions and let us know you’re coming. We welcome you to our table.
*We are on summer break, but will resume our dinners on Thursday, July 18th.
INVESTIGATIVE BIBLE DISCUSSIONS
If you have questions about the Bible and are open to reading and discussing it together, an Investigative Bible Discussion (IBD) might be your next step. This could look like a one-on-one weekly meeting or a small gathering of people who are curious about what the Bible has to say about life, death, truth, and our response. If this kind of setting interests you, contact us using the form below and let’s consider the Bible together in a constructive, meaningful way.
